Chris has been married to his bride, Teresa, for more than 48 years. Together, they have built a beautiful family: two children, Tiffany and Chris Jr., a wonderful son-in-law, Kyle, and four cherished grandchildren, Kenzie, Carson, Trenton, and Annabelle, each a reminder of the Lord’s continued blessings.

Chris answered the call to preach at just twelve years old—a calling that would shape the course of his entire life. By the age of nineteen, he stepped into his first pastorate, trusting God to lead him far beyond his years. Since then, Pastor Chris has faithfully devoted most of his adult life to pastoral ministry, shepherding people with a steady hand and a servant’s heart.

His journey of ministry has extended into leadership roles across Arkansas and Illinois. He has served on numerous elected and appointed boards, including the Evangelism Boards and State Councils in both states, and served as Arkansas Evangelism Director. For nearly 25 years, he has poured into the next generation of ministers as Chairman of the Ministerial Development Board, helping others hear, follow, and stay true to their calling.

Chris is also committed to growing both spiritually and academically. He holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management and a Master of Arts in Counseling from the Church of God Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Tennessee. He has also completed his educational requirements for a Doctor of Ministry in Church Leadership from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Throughout the years, Chris and Teresa have faithfully served churches in Missouri, Arkansas, and Illinois. Their last season of ministry was spent at Curtis Road Church of God in Champaign, Illinois, where they pastored for 22 years—loving people, building community, and pointing hearts toward Christ. In January 2025, they stepped into retirement, closing one chapter while continuing to walk in the legacy of a life poured out in service to God and others.
